By using key fob sensors within the vehicle, the Keyless Access System can detect your key fob as you walk up to the vehicle. Smart Entry & Walk Away Auto Lock
One of the best features of this new keyless technology is Smart Entry. When standing within 32 inches of the vehicle, and with a quick touch of the door handle, the vehicle will unlock, and can even turn on the radio to your preferred station. Once inside, simply buckle up and press the start button to be on your way. Perhaps best of all, the vehicle can be locked automatically with the hands-free Walk Away Auto Lock feature. Just keep your fob close by, shut all the vehicle doors, and the system will automatically lock once the fob is more than five feet away. With Smart Entry and Walk Away Auto Lock there are no key fob buttons to press, no ignitions to turn, just a true keyless experience.
